Amy Lane was introduced to me by her editor who raved about Amy’s talent and books. She’s a prolific writer with lots of different types of stories. I gave her Johnnies series a shot and have loved every one. They’re fun, they’re sexy, and they show a very real side to young men trying to find their place in the world. And yes, these books are gay romance about male porn stars, but don’t let that turn you away. They’re really good books.

I just read her most recent, Shades of Henry, which is a spin off from the Johnnies.

It’s fun and flows quickly, but if you want the full perspective, start with Chase in Shadow. How’s that for a hot cover?

Amy has a deft hand with angst. She loves the tortured past but handles it without kicking over into melodrama. And she has a way of making you laugh even when you feel their pain. Give them a shot, they’re well worth every penny!

If you enjoy gay romance, don’t forget to Were-Geeks Save Wisconsin, my first m/m romance that came out last month.

WERE-GEEKS Save Wisconsin by Kathy Lyons

WERE-GEEKS Save Wisconsin

When badass werewolves battling supernatural evil realize they need tech support, they recruit a group of geeks with hilarious—and romantic—results.

Chemist Josh Collier is having a blast at a comic book convention when he gets the shock of his life—he’s a werewolf! WTF? Before he can howl, he’s whisked away to a secret lair by Nero, a hot guy dressed as a Roman centurion. Josh’s former life is over, and his genius is needed at Wulf, Inc.

Nero has no interest in babysitting a trainee were-geek when he’d rather be killing the demon that wiped out his entire pack. While Josh analyzes the monster’s weapon, wild passion ignites between him and Nero.

With destiny and their pack in the balance, can they survive the demon out to destroy Wisconsin?
